CoCoa was born here in 2004. Her mom is Ju-Ju my solid black. Ace is her first baby and she immediately bonded with him. CoCoa didn’t give me much time to prepare for Ace. One minute she was standing in the field and 15 minutes later…….Ace! She is sweet and loving and insists on her share of attention! CoCoa is proving to be a great brood jennet and if Ace is any indication, she will have some very striking babies! Co-Coa was bred to Vanilla Ice for a Spring 2009 baby.

PEARL

DOB – 2001 – Gray & White Spotted

Pearl is just the best mom ever! Tardy is her third baby. Each one is better than the one before! And Dottie, her latest baby, is no exception. Pearl has lots of confidence and she conveys that to her babies. Tardy will come up to anyone for attention. Pearl’s first two babies were by my Jasper. Opal is just one of Pearl’s offspring. Pearl was bred to Jasper last year. On a beautiful summer morning, July 16, 2008, I watched as Pearl gave birth to a beautiful spotted jennet we named Dottie. Dottie will remain with us here at ASSissi Sunset Acres. She can be seen on the Foal page.

OPAL

Opal is Pearl’s second baby with Jasper and she won’t leave you alone! She is the “big sister” for Ace and Tardy and the three of them are often seen galloping around the field playing tag. She is tiny and will stay that way. Three year old Opal met with Vanilla Ice in 2007 and just gave us an unbelievable Dark Brown/Black Jennet we named Trinket. Trinket was born August 30^th. She is available and can been seen on both the Foals page and the For Sale page.

JU-JU

Ju-Ju and Pearl were the first two donkeys here at ASSissi Sunset Acres. They were so quiet and loving I just had to have them be part of my family. Ju-Ju did not have a lot of confidence when she got here. But for those that know Miniature Donkeys, it didn’t take a long time before she was excepting of me. And before long the little shrinking violet came out of her shell. She is so sweet. Ju-Ju is bred to Vanilla Ice and is due this Summer 2009. Watch for the announcement of her new arrival!

SPRINGLAKE PJ

Springlake PJ came to ASSissi Sunset Acres the Spring of 2007. She was too cute for her own good! We are proud to have her here. She became fast friends with Ju-Ju. She was bred to Woods Edge black “Who’s Your Daddy”. “PJ” gave us a beautiful, healthy, Dark Chocolate jennet on January 27, 2008. We named the jennet Bliss and are thrilled we will be able to keep her in our breeding program. You can see her on our Foals Page. PJ was bred to Vanilla Ice for a Spring 2009 baby.
