ABOUT US
At ASSissi Sunset Acres, we breed for strong confirmation and outstanding temperaments. We have been very fortunate to be able to imprint with all our babies.
We are present at at each foaling, and believe in human contact immediately after birth. Herd numbers are kept small in order to give personal care and individual attention to each animal on a daily basis.
All of our donkeys are kept up-to-date on vaccinations and routine health maintenance, such as hoof trimming. Each donkey purchased from ASSissi Sunset Acres leave the farm with his or her very own halter and lead rope, too!
Our farm is an active and happy place, home to chickens in the yard and Golden Retrievers running and playing. There is always something happening here! We feel fortunate to be present at the births of our foals. We have been blessed with very loving jennets and jacks.
The farm itself is located in the beautiful rolling hills, sitting on top of a hill. ASSissi Sunset Acres has nightly sunsets that we never tire of. It is a quiet reminder of a good day’s work and optimism for yet another good day tomorrow.
